Payments – UPDATE – 25 April 2022
Administrators have started sending emails to everyone with an upheld claim telling them what they will be paid.
“The Joint Administrators are now in a position to declare a first and final dividend of 53.5p in the £”
The average claim value is c £1,700. Someone with that claim value will get a payout of about £910.
The payout details are given in the email:
- This will be paid over the next two weeks.
- If the administrators couldn’t validate your banking details, it will be sent by cheque. I don’t know how the administrators will “validate” your details.
- If you used a claims company, the money will be paid to them.
- Most people are not having any deduction for tax paid to HMRC, so there is no need to reclaim anything.
Credit records
The administrators may decide to :
– remove any negative marks on your credit record
– delete all loans that were upheld
– delete all your loans.
I don’t know what they have chosen to do – if people can check and report in the comments when they see a change, that would be great.
How much your credit score will change will depend on whether there were any negative marks. If you want to get a mortgage, you would like as many payday loans gone as possible, even if they were repaid on time and not hurting your credit score.
In a few months when the administrators no longer talk to the CRAs you can ask for any remaining loans to be “suppressed” so other lenders can’t see them. See https://debtcamel.co.uk/correct-credit-records-lender-administration/ but it is too soon to do that now.
QuickQuid went into administration in October 2019
CashEuroNet (CEU), which owns the QuickQuid, Pounds To Pocket and On Stride brands, stopped giving loans and went into administration on 25 October 2019.
I will be talking about QuickQuid (QQ) rather than CashEuroNet as it is the more familiar name. Everything here also applies to loans from Cashruronet’s other brands, Pounds To Pocket and On Stride.
Grant Thornton were appointed as Administrators. They set up a page about Redress Complaints – this is their term for people who have asked for a refund because they were given unaffordable loans.
Background to the QuickQuid Administration
QuickQuid was one of the “Big Three” payday lenders in Britain, starting out in 2007.
After Wonga and the Money Shop Group had all stopped lending and gone bust over the last fifteen months, QuickQuid was left as the largest UK payday lender.
QuickQuid had well over a million customers. When it went into administration there were c. 500,000 customers with outstanding loans.
Many of these customers had prolonged borrowing from QQ. They either rolling loans over or repaid one loan but were left so short of money that they had to borrow again.
These customers have good reasons to win an affordability complaint and get a refund of the interest they paid.
Affordability complaints started on a small scale in 2015 and increased in the next few years.
In 2018, complaints going to the Financial Ombudsman (FOS) jumped with the involvement of Claims Companies and QuickQuid became the most complained about firm to FOS, excluding PPI complaints.
For a long time QQ refused to refund interest on any loans taken more than 6 years before or where the loans were given in 2015 or afterwards. This resulted in a huge backlog of claims at the Financial Ombudsman, where QQ had made very poor offers to customers and then rejected an adjudicator decision.
In late July 2019, QQ agreed to accept several thousand FOS complaints it had previously rejected.
By accepting the FOS decisions on loans over 6 years, long chains of borrowing, and loans taken after 2015, the scale of QQ’s likely future liability for refunds will have become clear to the company.
After failing to persuade the FCA that a Scheme of Arrangement was appropriate, Enova, CEU’s large and profitable US parent, decided to close the UK business, blaming the UK regulatory environment.
How could the regulators let this happen?
This is an excellent question… Stella Creasy, MP called for an inquiry into the FCA over Wonga and QuickQuid.
I have looked at the question here: More payday lenders go under in 2019 – was anything learned from Wonga?
What has happened in the administration
Customers with a valid claim for a refund are “unsecured creditors”. This includes:
- any refunds that were in progress after an amount was agreed or a Final Decision from a FOS Ombudsman (FOS);
- complaints that were underway at QQ or FOS when QQ went under;
- any new complaints sent to the Administrators.
All complaints at FOS legally had to stop and were been passed back to the Administrators. It isn’t possible to send any new complaints to FOS.
It is now too late to submit a Claim for unaffordable lending. The last date was 14 February 2021.
The administrators have given the following statistics about claims:
- 169,000 customers made claims for unaffordable lending;
- 78,000 claims were upheld by the administrators;
- the upheld claims had a total value of £136million, so an average of about £1,700 per claim.
Still owe a balance on a QuickQuid or On Stride loan?
More than 300,000 of the current loans were sold to Lantern in summer 2021. You should have been informed if your loan was sold.
The administrators have now stopped collecting any money from the remaining unsold loans.

Anyone receive payment yet? I keep checking bank all day 🙈 can’t wait to pay off and treat my children 🥰
Sara (Debt Camel) says
It can’t be for a few days yet. No point in checking all the time.
Robert James says
Do you know if it’s BACS or Faster payments.
Sara (Debt Camel) says
I expect it is BACS
Paul says
No. But QQ went bust in the middle of a claim I was making via a CMC. So it seems the administrators are going to pay the total direct to my claims firm who will then pay me. *Facepalm*.
Jayce says
For anyone who’s waiting for there email, I changed my email adress during the administration and updated it with them and received emails with the new adress but the percentage email came through yesterday on my old adress so if you’ve updated an email adress check the old one if you have access still
As always thank you for all your help sara
Lucy says
Huge thanks for this! Just checked my old email and the email is there
Lee Warrington says
I got through after 1hr 5 mins to confirm my bank details. Very friendly American lady who confirmed my bank account details with no probs. They are very busy but hold on they will answer.
olalekan says
Hi lee, was it the same bank details you had with them previously, or a new one?
Benn says
Posted a comment yesterday saying I thought it would go to the wire with the redress, now that people are starting to receiving “the email” it’s great news for all concerned.
Just hope I receive my email from them as no news yet for myself…. The bug has caught me now with constantly checking my emails and refreshing the inbox!!!! I do I get the news today or tomorrow 🙏
Neil says
Same here Benn…Keep telling myself, “be patient, be patient”…As I’m refreshing my inbox again…and again…and again. Nothing yet, nothing in junk or spam. Just have to…be patient….
Teekay says
Been on hold for 57 minutes this morning trying to get through.
Wonder if it’s just one guy sat there.
Teekay says
Just got through to the lovely American lady on there and I’m all good!
Just FYI they can’t confirm your full bank account number but the last 4 so as long as you don’t have a duplicate it’s fine :)
Took 1:38:33 to get through so just be patient guys and gals :D
Lisa Smith says
No its more likely the fact hundreds of panicked people are calling to ask the same question – “where is my email?”
olalekan says
Hi all,i have moved adress several times since i was with quickquid,i have received an email to say i will be paid but my bank account i used is different as well, How can i get this changed without having to call? understandably the queues are very long to get through!! Any advice? Thanks
Steven G says
Hi all, I’ve had my email I couldn’t see it in any of my folders so I searched claims@mail.casheuronetuk.co.uk and it appeared. They said I’ll be getting 53% which is far better then expected. They also said to contact them if its not been paid with in 2 weeks. So happy days. And thanks Sarah for all your help.
AdamR says
got my email yesterday saying I will be receiving £831
very happy with this as I was expecting the lower end of the administrators prediction
now I’m just checking here religiously waiting for the first ones to say they have been paid out
Sara (Debt Camel) says
I suggest you come back in a few days time – no one will be paid today or tomorrow
AdamR says
thanks Sara, i know its a very slow process and this site has been absolutely brilliant with updates
i figured payments wouldn’t start until the later part of the week however i do like to remain optimistic
Paul says
Blimey 53p in the £ was not expecting this – compare to the other administration processes
I totally 4got about this redress and recieved an email yesterday
Great news for all involved – Payday loans should never have been allowed
I feel like Im older and wiser now and going fwd have learnt a lesson with regards to borrowing
Well done all invilved
Hamish says
I just checked my spam and it was in there confirming something I didn’t expect 😉. If it helps my claim ref number was around 70800
You will receive a payment of £839.88. Your payment represents 53.5p in the £ on your agreed claim value of £1568.46.
I’m with coop bank so they’re old school & keep hold of 💰 for 3 days.
Good luck everyone
Danny C says
1 hour and 30 mins on hold and finally got through.
Not very helpful. I explained i hadn’t received an assessment outcome in regards to my claim (only an email in October 2020 stating they needed no further info from me and i should expect an assessment outcome, which was never received).
The American lady on the call said she could only escalate this with the assessment team i should expect an email within 72 hours.
Didnt sound promising :(
Sabrina says
I still haven’t received my email as yet? Should I be concerned?
Jamie says
Still haven’t had mine either, I would worry too much. I’m probably gonna give it until tomorrow morning and if no email, will just call them.
sharon says
very happy with my outcome I will be receiving £1139 thanks Sara for your help
Charlie says
Great to see we will finally get paid for this! As it was so long ago, I now have a different bank account (my original one closed a year after the loan when I was in financial difficulties) and I have moved since….so not sure how I can be paid as we cannot now change bank details and I have no way of receiving a cheque. Any ideaas about what I can do?? I am now abroad so cannot even call the 0800 number? :( Any ideas greatly appreciated!
Eddy says
You can send them an email.
FrankieTheSkin says
Email them about sending a cheque to your current home address, I doubt they’ll be making SWIFT/IBAN payments crossborder… you did make a claim, though, right?
Gray says
It goes into the bank details you gave when made the claim, not the account the loan went into.
Payment will be made to the bank account that you provided when you submitted your claim, or subsequently updated, on the Online Claims Portal
Danielle says
Just got through after 1hr 36 mins. Gave customer reference and went through DPA – the handler immediately confirmed the amount I would be receiving electronically and to which bank account – I advised I was yet to receive an email, hence my phone call and she said there was not a problem but that the emails were going out in batches and mine must be in a later batch and again to check trash/spam. Hope this help to allay some peoples concerns.
Hayley Bradley says
Danielle thank you so much for this up-to-date information…… as i have not received an email too…….. so will wait till around 4pm again today……. thank you again
Andy says
Thankyou Danielle, that really helps. I’ve sent an email but didn’t want to phone as I did expect it to be done in batches. Thanks for your phone patience!
Tracy says
Thank you for this update I’ve not had mine yet and thought they may be doing in batches or alphabetical order
Laura c says
Mine went into junk despite me setting casheuronet as an approved email contact so check your junk folders
Hayley says
I had two separate claims from different times, and my emails came at different times. Looks as though it went by account number order
Lauren says
Hi Danielle what number did you use? I have 2 (one from email and one from the lender directly) I’ve been giving up after an hour but maybe I need to pursue it till answering. Any help on the number used would be great. Glad you’ve got yours sorted
Mr Gavin says
I have had the e mail, similar time frame to everyone else last night, my only concern is the bank account they hold on file so calling to check that and been in the queue for over an hour now. Hopefully its correct as the address they will have will be my old one at the time i had the loans. Fingers crossed for a quick payment within the next few weeks!
Mark says
At the bottom of the sent email it does state that customer support will be really busy and it will take a lot longer for them to reply to emails or answer phone calls.
Dawn says
Thanks Sara for this great result !!
Is it worth contacting other company’s like this re any refunds such as lending stream or money shop !!
Sara (Debt Camel) says
Lending stream yes! See https://debtcamel.co.uk/payday-loan-refunds/.
Money shop – no that has been liquidated.
Any other payday lenders? Large bad credit loans such as 118, Everyday Loans, Likely Loans etc? See https://debtcamel.co.uk/refunds-large-high-cost-loans/ and that is also the right page for unaffordable car finance
Any credit cards or catalogues that increased your credit limit to an impossibly high level – see https://debtcamel.co.uk/refunds-catalogue-credit-card/
Have yo7 been in your overdraft permanently, every day of the month? See https://debtcamel.co.uk/get-refund-overdraft/
Michael says
Has any body tried claiming off likely loans I’ve had a few loans of them and still currently paying one back, ridiculous interest, any advice would be greatly appreciated
Sara (Debt Camel) says
yes – lots of cases won against them at the ombudsman – LL often reject good cases. See https://debtcamel.co.uk/refunds-large-high-cost-loans/ for a template and other questions are best asked in the comments below that page.
Kay says
Hi Michael, I complained to Likely Loans in March 2022. I explained that I was in a constant cycle of borrowing to service other loans, credit cards and payday loans, and so the loans, topped up every 6 months for 3 years were unaffordable. Within 10 days of my original email my claim was upheld and a refund of all interest charged plus 8% was paid into my bank. The outstanding balance of my loan was paid off. Send your complaint to complaints@oakbrookfinance.co.uk. They were very quick to make a decision so give it a go. Good luck let us know how you get on.
Michael says
Thanks for replying Kay did you send in bank statements as well, I can find statements for current loan but struggling to find for the loans I had in 2018
Sara (Debt Camel) says
you should be able to get bank statements for 2018. Even if you have changed banks. Don’t let this put you off making a complaints and possibly getting a good refund!
Kay says
They didn’t ask for any information at all, I simply requested that they looked into my account history with them as I considered the loans to have been unaffordable for the reasons I mentioned previously. Was a three line email from me and they did all the work. Was very painless so send them a complaint asap and see what happens. They do respond very quickly. Good luck
Steph says
Yes! Sent them a very short email last month and they relied within 7 days accepting my claim and money was in my account a few days later!
Kay says
Hi Michael, I didn’t send any bank statements. I simply sent an email asking them to look into my account history, as I considered the loans were unaffordable, due to the reasons previously mentioned. It was a 3 line email and nothing further was required. Email them asap and see how you get on. Their response was very quick. Good luck
Michael says
Thank you Kay going to do this first thing been stuck in a vicious cycle far to long
Dave B says
I did have to send a bank statement off to them as part of the validation process. In exchange I got the following back (I’ve removed the lines with my personal info on
Text follows
Thank you for contacting CashEuroNet UK, LLC. Thank you for submitting your bank statement, we do not need you to take any further action in the interim, please be assured that we will email you as soon as we are in a position to do so. Please continue to monitor your email for an update advising of actual refund amount and when to expect funding.
Alex says
Got an email telling me £3022 will be paid to me … totally forgot that this was ongoing due to the amount of time,.
I’m a happy camper … just hoping the cheque comes as quick as the BACS payments.
Hope this news has given relief to alot of people.
Alex.
Wojtek says
U will wait for cheque about 3 weeks provably
Sara (Debt Camel) says
there is no indication how long cheques will take.
Tt says
I actually thought that email was spam as it was in the junk mail and because the amount coming is £1800 and the time times its taken but now I’ve seen all the comments I’m happy
Mark says
Am I right in thinking we was asked to provide banking details in the claims portal
Steve says
I was wondering this too. I checked through the emails and found this sentence which suggests we did “Payments will be made to the bank account that you provided when you submitted the claim on the Portal. “
Chris says
I cant remember ive been trying to call to check my details but can not get though
Mark says
I’ve emailed and asked. I’m pretty sure I put my details in the claims portal.
Kiz says
This is what im hoping, and im almost 90% positive we did..
Claire says
I didn’t apply on the portal I applied before they went into liquidation and so my complaint was carried over. My bank details haven’t changed but my address has so I have emailed them. Thanks for all the help here 😊
Lenny says
Wow, 53p in the pound. Makes a change from the usual few pence in the pound that we normally get screwed with.
Steven says
Hi all just to Lett you no have just spoken to them and they emails are still on going in batches just keep checking your email folders also my bank details are correct got through after 1 hour 20 minuets hope this helps
Jo says
I got my email at 17:44 yesterday.
I’d completely forgotten about my claim, so was over the moon to find out it is worth £5,815.97!!!! No tax deducted too, but not sure why…
I have tried to call them though as I convinced myself it was a scam email overnight, but no one is answering the phones today :/
Fingers crossed everyone gets their emails and payments, then we can have closure!!
Emma says
There is a deal with hmrc about the deduction. I think it’s something like if the compensatory interest (the 8%) exceeds the interest we are being repaired then there will be a deduction people can claim back from hmrc if they aren’t over their interest limit. That will probably only apply to people with really old loans because the 8% compensatory interest accumulates each year since the loan was taken out.
Sara (Debt Camel) says
I am trying to find out the details about the tax situation.
William P says
received a email yesterday evening and phone up to confirm correct bank details which were correct after spending 1 hour and 30min on the phone was told estimated pay out is 08/05/2022 total payout £2,796.60 hope all will get there’s in time and thank you Sara for all the help that you have given past and present
Laura says
The 8th May works with receiving payment within 2 weeks. And particularly noting they say to get in touch if you haven’t received within 2 weeks. However, I’d be surprised to get the payment on a weekend. Normally these things are Monday-Friday (excluding Bank/Public Holidays).
Kieran says
I had logged my complaint before the deadline for this and received confirmation that my complaint had been received. I used the old email address that I had the loans with to log the complaint and so any updates were going to this address. I then kind of forgot all about it and any time I had checked for an update there was nothing in my inbox so I just wrote it off as having been rejected.
I heard that the administrators had declared their dividend and decided to have one final check, just in case, and was expecting absolutely nothing. Then I had a look in my junk mail and it turns out I’ll be getting a £400 refund! Couldn’t believe it. Update mails must have been going to my junk and being auto-deleted after a couple of weeks which is more often than I check the old email account.
Anyway, this post is just to say a big thank you to Sara – I used the resources on this website to make several claims a few years ago and many of them were successful. This is definitely the final one now, so I’m more than happy to conclude this chapter of my life and am glad to say I’m in a much better position financially. Long may these short-term lenders stay dead! Thanks again Sara.
Kieran
Peter says
Absolutely buzzin… patience is a virtue …Good things come to those that wait £5207 on its way ..Mind you I borrowed over 28k off of quick quid over a sustained period…Massive thanks to Sara for all her advice and support she has given us all over the last couple of years …DO SOMETHING USEFUL WITH YOUR PAYOUTS
Mary says
As I mentioned before put a claim In from Lending stream on 15th April got the decision yesterday afternoon. Money in bank account this morning. £4200 whoopee! My lucky week.
Gavin says
Wow your got yours quick thats great news! Bacs payment I assume and who does the payee show as please Mary?
Sara (Debt Camel) says
to have arrived that fast it can’t be a BACS payment , has to be a Faster Payment
Gavin says
Very true didn’t think they would chaps due to the cost it would incur them.
LUCY says
I wanted to echo what a few comments are saying already. For me, this money allows me to now be debt-free and also to have little savings on the side too, which I haven’t had in years! So it really is a turning point for me. Taking out payday loans was one of the lowest points for me, and I will not be going back there ever. I really hope that with the money received, people can make a positive turn in their lives, and not revert to how we were a week ago (desperately waiting for this money to pay our debts!)
Thanks to Debt Camel and Sara for this space – don’t know where I would have been without it!
Damo says
Still no email for me… is it worth contacting them?
Lara James says
I don’t suppose anyone knows if any payments have actually been processed yet? I was wondering if they’d do instant payments like lending stream or if it would be a bacs.
Until the money lands in my account, I’m not going to get excited! :-) (but once it’s there! Woooooo!)
Sara (Debt Camel) says
it will be BACS not instant payments.
Adele says
I haven’t got it sitting in my bank but it’s sitting there ‘pending’ I’m with Monzo and I can get BACS payments a day early so it’s showing as coming in tomorrow 4pm
Hayley says
Adele is that your Quick Quid payment that’s showing in pending?
Chris says
Had my email today but the email states money will be sent to HMRC although my correct bank details were given. Any ideas why this is and how I will get the money from HMRC?
Sara (Debt Camel) says
If you reread it carefully, it only says that any tax deducted will be sent to HMRC, not the whole refund. And most people aren’t having any tax deducted.
Mark H says
I just want to say a huge thank you to Sara not just for this thread but also for all of the other useful information she provides. In addition, she has to review all of our posts and act as a mediator at times. I really appreciate the way she has helped to manage my expectations but at the same time has always remained positive.
Also, irrespective of race, creed, colour or wealth please show everyone RESPECT even if they’re different or have a differing opinion to you. It’s a tough World and we’re all just trying to survive as best as we can.
GARETH says
I took loans out with Quick Quid and Pounds to Pockets. Do you know if the settlement is for all companies or is claim upheld against each lender
In my case a use Quick Quid more than Pounds to Pockets so will I receive a breakdown ?
It’s been so long I forgot all about this.
Sara (Debt Camel) says
Your claim (I assume you made one) would be been considered for all loans you had. The acceptance/rejection email you were sent should have listed these loans.
Richard says
Has anyone else still not had an email?
Ciaran says
Still no email, becoming quite concerned now. Anyone else still waiting?
Richard says
Yes, claim was accepted over a year ago but haven’t received anything since.
Callum says
No email received yet :( tried calling but spent around 2 hours on hold today and haven’t got the time to wait for hours on end. Actually getting worried now
Ryan says
Still waiting. My surname begins with a W so could just be sent out in alphabetical order.
Not overly worried yet either way. I’ve had the agreement email all them months ago.
Caroline Edge says
Might be junk email check again?
Hayley Bradley says
Yep, I’m still waiting….. yesterday this time people were getting them….. worried now
Steve says
Will the payments be sent in batches too? I’m guessing they will not start sending the payments until next week?
Sara (Debt Camel) says
yes. they haven’t said when the first batch will be sent.
Robert James says
I assumed that payments were to be sent on or just after email. I would prefer money this weekend as I’ll be free to get myself a new bicycle for work. The bike shops is closed when I normally finished.
Sara (Debt Camel) says
That may happen. Or it may not.
Andre says
Someone in the comments above said 08/05??
Has anyone else been told this?
Sara (Debt Camel) says
two weeks from yesterday – which is what it said in the email everyone got – would be the 8th of May.
Andy says
I’m sure comments in here were that people who’d spoken to them had been told payments were still due to be made this week? Has that changed now? Yet to have my confirmation so don’t know what is in the email. I presume as well the speed of how quickly it drops in to your account depends how quick your bank process payments.
Sara (Debt Camel) says
I think you should assume that information may have been wrong and that all be know is the 2 week period referred to in the email yesterday.
Andre says
Yeah the email said “within two weeks” and not a specific date, so I’ll stick with that yes lol
sabrina says
Yeah I got an email yesterday morning saying payment on time for 30th April so this Saturday … 🤔🤔🤔
Sara (Debt Camel) says
you should ignore that. The email later in the day is the important one.
Charles says
I wonder, will they make the payments in alphabetical order?
Sara (Debt Camel) says
No.
Nor date of birth, nor the bank you are with, nor the order claims were made, nor the size of the claim.
In previous administrations no-one has been able to work out who was put into which batches and there is just point in trying.
owed 14k says
Right this is not said due to actual knowledge, however the chances are they will be paid in account order.
So there is a thing called a database which holds all account details. These database records are stored in an order by the index which can be assigned to any field. Account Number, Name, etc etc. Usually for this type of database it would be account number.
Chances are when the backend processes all claims it will do in batches of x and start of at the lowest index field and work forward. Now as I said chances are the index would be on account number which would mean it would have nothing to do with name, age, address, amount owed, etc etc.
Starshine says
I’d agree , I just rechecked my email revived yesterday and I’m claim number 28068, with being upwards of 78,000 this may make sense , of course I’ve no proof but my surname is T and my award amount is large so I suspect names and amounts have no bearing.
james says
my claim number was 123717 and i received my email by 8pm yesterday so they claim numbers really dont mean anything especially since there is only 78000 or so claims
Michael says
Email received yesterday for a £987 payment within two weeks. Thank you guys and girls for any advice and supporting comments on this page :)

Hello Sara, and others,
Just to provide some insight into the validation of bank accounts. There is a tool/API available called Bank Wizard (possibly provided by the Government/DWP) that allows those who have licensed it to check a bank account is valid. To quote the Experian service offering for Bank Wizard “to verify bank account details in real-time and validate that the account exists, is active and is connected to the customer”.
Like others have commented above, I think I provided my currently active bank account when I registered my complaint on the portal, as I have changed bank accounts at least twice since I had the QuickQuid loan (as well as moving three time). I don’t relish sitting on the phone for over an hour to check, so I am going to try and wait patiently and keep checking my bank account each morning. How long my resolve will last I don’t know!
I’m so glad the administrators emailed me to suggest I might have a claim, and I would also add my thanks to Sara for the support received through DebtCamel through the process.
DCarrots says
For those wondering when they might get their refund I can see I have a pending credit in my Monzo two days from now for my refund. Got the email yesterday so pretty quick turnaround.
jamesLee says
Sara thank you for providing a place as such and contributing with your knowledge! its been a crazy 2.5 years with all this going on but finally finally its happening what a fantastic outcome in the end!
Frank says
I complained to Lending Stream 2 weeks ago using using the template Sara suggested to use elsewhere on this site. You complete the complaint form on their website. Yesterday I recieved their final response to my complaint and offering me £979 in redress. I accepted this and the money was in my account within 30 minutes…..so well worth complaining…..best of luck!!
Jack says
I’m under the assumption given many haven’t received emails yet that, those that have are the first batch to receive payment. Could be wrong mind…
Haven’t posted much on the site but thanks for everything you do Sara. It’s helped me a hell of a lot!
Robert James says
That would make sense , the whole thing is automated , when the email is sent the batch is prepared and sent. The truth will be tomorrow as BACS payment transfers cash on the third working day between 1am and 7am.
Lauren says
Has anyone had any joy in contacting them either by phone or mail? I’ve been trying for 2 days and just rings and rings. I response from emails. This has been going on so long I’m not sure if I have updated my details or anything. I’ve moved a few times so unsure which address is on system. Tried the contact numbers in email plus the actual quick quid number. Any help would be fab. Thank you
Gavin says
Hi Lauren I did but it took just over an hour and half hearing the music after pressing one so be prepared. They did confirm the bank account for me though so all good. Hope you get through
NC says
Hi Lauren,
I have had no luck calling them today. Their email response is to call them.
I have a valid claim and have had no email confirming amount etc.
Amber says
I managed to contact them today and they sent me an email address to update my bank details. I’m assuming it will be a similar process for address. You need to send the updated details with a copy/photo of your passport or driving license as well as copy of bank statement/bank card (if bank details) I’m assuming for address it would be a current bill. You have until 9th May 2022 to email any updates. claims@casheuronetuk.co.uk is the email I was told to use. Hope this helps
J says
Has anyone heard about payments yet? Has anyone had payment?
Sara (Debt Camel) says
as soon as people start being paid they will leave a comment – if there aren’t any comments you can assume that no one has yet received any money.

I bank with monzo and can see my redress is pending to be paid on Thursday. I received my email advising of payment on Tuesday so seems to be moving swiftly
Trevor says
It seems like Mary (April 26, 2022 at 1:55 pm) is the only lucky one so far!
EDITED BY SARA – no, Mary was talking about getting a payment from Lending Stream. No one has had a payment from QuickQuid administration.
H-S says
I can see that my redress payment is going to be credited to my account on Thursday this week (Monzo account holder).
Thanks for all your input and guidance on here Sara!
Steph says
I got my email yesterday and my Monzo bank is showing the payment is due to be made Thursday!
sam says
my payment is showing in my monzo account for thursday , yeyyyyyyyy
Mick says
My email came to the email address I initially used to get the loans from quick quid, when I signed up for the redress I used a different email account and all correspondence prior was sent there.
It’s odd that yesterdays email went to my old account email. I’m concerned this means they will use my old bank details even though I updated my bank details when signing up for this redress process but I can’t get through on the phone to double check.
I’d advice people who have not received an email yesterday who signed up with a new email to check the email account they initially had with the lender they used. Hope that makes sense.
HS says
As a Monzo account holder, I’ve just seen that I will be credited the redress amount in 2 days from now (with Monzo giving me access to them by 4pm tomorrow already). Hope this information helps in any way shape or form – I.e., redress payments will start to arrive this week.
Thanks Sara for all your insight and advice here, it has helped me a lot.
Steph says
Just to let others know, I Got my email yesterday (25th @ 16.54) and just checked my bank (Monzo) and the payment is showing as due to paid Thursday!

KC says
I’ve just checked my bank (Monzo), and the redress payment is showing as pending and due to be available in my account from Thursday. Perhaps folks won’t be waiting as long as expected for payments to arrive.
Dan says
Same for me also :)
Robert James says
Excellent news. I’m with Barclays, but as a bank they are normally quite good at paying people quickly. My previous bank was useless, I won’t mention it. I had my email yesterday, so there is a chance I could have a beer down the pub tomorrow night?
Sara (Debt Camel) says
if you are in the first batch. There is no way to tell.
Bobby says
I totally forgot about this (it’s been so long) was surprised last night £1211.75 being paid!
Not sure if I filled on bank details as it was 2 years ago! But bank hasn’t changed, address has so emailed them by looking at FAQ’s it says they will try the bank account held at the time IF YOU DIDN’T fill in the bank details on the claim form. My bank has been the same for 38 years never changed banks so assuming it will go in there. I’ve emailed as I don’t have time to sit on hold due to being HGV driver.
It was a shock when the Mrs said you’re due a payout as she’s in charge of all the admin. We had completely forgot we had sat and done it!
Sara (Debt Camel) says
I hope your Mrs has a good plan for the money!
Dan says
I will be getting paid tomorrow at 4pm it’s been confirmed , get innnnnn
Lee says
Hi guys. I bank with Monzo and its just showed up as a pending payment for tomorrow. Wohooo
Helen says
I was one of the lucky ones to have received confirmation of the redress yesterday, just checked my bank as a complaint with Tesco gained me £50 for pointing out a system error, I bank with Monzo and it is telling me there will be £2759 from CashEuroNet available in 2 days – no messing around with payments! I think 2 weeks is to provide time to address everything without complaints.
Chris says
My redress is pending in my account and will clear Thursday. That was quick!
Dan says
Hi guys
I will be getting paid tomorrow 4pm
Everyone with Monzo account, check your account it will show you money coming in, because they paying BACS we can get it a day early so it will be tomorrow 4pm for me

Charlotte says
Mine is showing as hitting my bank tomorrow! That was quick. Not as much as most of you, nearly £500 but a nice bonus that I wasn’t expecting!

Amanda says
My account is showing as payment being made in 2 days. Hopefully that might help everyone wondering when payments are due to be made. Thanks for everything you’ve done Sara – has been so helpful and informative.

Hi All, congrats to those who have received confirmation. Is anyone else waiting on an email? I have tried calling with no luck today and their email response was saying please call.
Have a valid claim worth £3800 and have had communication with them this year.
Many thanks
Sasha W says
Yes I also haven’t received an email. I did email them months ago to check they had the right address.
Dan M says
Hi all,
I bank with Monzo and my refund from QQ is now appearing as pending i.e. being paid in 2 days from now. I never actually had an email confirming the amount. Hope that helps. Thanks
Davew says
Hello, this may be helpful for some of you. I bank with Monzo and I have just seen on their app that there is an incoming BACS payment due into my account on the 28th April from Casheuronet. I have yet to receive the confirmation email from them but it confirms that they are at least starting to send out payments for some people and very quickly too
chris says
Yes my payment is also due, i can see it pending in two days in monzo!
Rachel says
Has anyone had the emai about one claim but not about the other? I had one claim for around £250 accepted and another for over £1000. I’ve had the email yesterday about the smaller claim but nothing on the larger one.
Sara (Debt Camel) says
not sure why you had two claims?
BT says
I had one for QQ and another for Onstride. When I filed a claim on the portal I thought they would look into everything but they didnt connect my QQ account (Hotmail account used) with the Onstride loan account (gmail).
They later reconciled but it means I have two claims, both accepted.
QQ has a claim numer in the #4200 ish and the other claim that claim that came later is on #12000ish.
BT says
And I received the email for the early claim but not the second yet
J says
Lantern is the debt recovery agency.
I have an email who have advised that they will write to Lantern telling them to write the debt off
Sara (Debt Camel) says
this is an email from QuickQuid?
J says
Hi Sara,
Yes please see extract from them
Please also note that we will be providing Lantern with the finalised data file in due course for them to commence the write-off of your sold loan that is currently held by them.
Sara (Debt Camel) says
excellent – thank you.
Bernie66 says
@J
Also heard back from Moriarty Law (lantern’s lawyers) and they are setting aside my CCJ as it has now been declared has an unaffordable loan. I emailed them about a month ago with help from Sara and a Mr Clarke, if I remember correctly. So, thank you Sara and Mr C for your help and guidance with this. That is the end of that! 😊
Sara (Debt Camel) says
very good news!
Patrick says
Has everyone received there email yet? I haven’t received one but yet and I’m getting worried 😬
Sara (Debt Camel) says
No. And a couple of people who haven’t had the email have just reported they have a payment pending with their bank for tomorrow,
Steph kelly says
I haven’t! Had claim accepted and they sent me a copy of letter in Jan. Nothing in junk or old email either! Have sent them an email but hoping it’ll just appear in my account in meantime!
Callum says
Hi all. Got the email yesterday and as of 10 mins ago I can see the payment due to hit my account on Thursday.
Brian says
I’m with Starling, I hope they are as quick!
Char says
Same for me – no email but payment due to land Thursday (but is available after 4pm tomorrow) as I also have Monzo :)
Ben says
Hey all.
I got my email yesterday confirming my payment, and i bank with Monzo, so i can see incoming BACS transfers before they arrive.
2 DAYS FROM NOW:
Casheuronet Redress – £1045.72
Won’t be long folks.
Kevin says
Pending payment on Monzo for tomorrow at 4pm.
Kevin says
Pending to be paid on my Monzo account tomorrow at 4pm
Kate says
Im getting this paid on Thursday – I’m with Monzo and just got a notification that a Casheuronet Redress is due in my account on Thursday! Oooh how exciting!!
Dave says
Hi, I have still not had an email. However, the email address that casheuronet had for me when I took out loans is not in use and I don’t have access too it now. I used a different email address on the claims portal so I am thinking that this is why I’ve not been getting any emails, just the one stating that I have an upheld claim from 2020. Luckily, my bank details have not changed.
Blake says
Ah, thanks – this might be what’s happenened to me, then. I used my current email address to make the claim and so got my first email from them in 2020, but the email address I used when I was borrowing from QuickQuid was linked to my old service provider and no longer exists.
Will contact them if I don’t hear anything in a day or two, though, just in case.
Ip says
I didn’t receive my email yesterday and rang EuroNetCash today (on hold for 1 hour 30 mins) and was sent a copy. It was sent to my old email address.
Payment by BACS within 14 days of the email.
Steven says
Up wot was the number you rang please
